DTC DESCRIPTION P2085 - EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT (BANK 1 SENSOR 2)

| Description: | This DTC sets when the DTC P2033 is set. The exhaust fluid system fault message may be enabled in the instrument cluster message center for this DTC. | ||
| Possible Causes: | |||
| Diagnostic Aids: | This DTC is an informational DTC and may be accompanied by other DTCs. Diagnose all other DTCs first. The presence of this DTC may indicate that the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle, while carrying out the appropriate drive cycle procedure, until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center. Refer to DRIVE CYCLES , for additional information. For F-Series Super Duty, this DTC is present for 400 days after the exhaust system fluid fault message is cleared. |
