DTC P053A - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Heater A Control Circuit/Open

DTC DESCRIPTION P053A - POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION HEATER A CONTROL CIRCUIT /OPEN

Description:	This DTC sets when the PCM detects the actual CVHC circuit voltage is less than the desired voltage.
Possible Causes:	CVHC circuit open CVHC circuit short to ground VPWR circuit open VPWR circuit short to ground Damaged crankcase ventilation heater assembly
Diagnostic Aids:	Make sure the crankcase ventilation heater connector is correctly connected.
Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
