Wiring, terminals or connectors
Network communication concern
Door ajar switch

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may cause damage to the connector.

CQ1: RECHECK THE ABS MODULE DTCS

Ignition ON, engine OFF.

Carry out the ABS self-test.

Retrieve and record all ABS module DTCs.
Is DTC P166B:62 currently present and active in the ABS module?

Yes	No
Go to CQ2.	The condition causing the concern is not present at this time. RETURN to the ABS module DTC chart and DIAGNOSE all other ABS module DTCs.

CQ2: CHECK FOR DTCS IN THE BCM

Carry out the BdyCM self-test.

Retrieve and record all BCM DTCs.
Are there any DTCs present and active in the BCM?

Yes	No
DIAGNOSE all BCM DTCs before diagnosing ABS module DTC P166B:62. REFER to Multifunction Electronic Modules article.	Go to CQ3.

CQ3: CHECK THE DOOR LOCK STATUS CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN

Ignition OFF.
ABS Module connector disconnected.
Front Door Latch LH Assembly connector disconnected.

Measure the resistance between:

(+) ABS Module Connector, Harness Side	(-) Front Door Latch LH Assembly Connector, Harness Side
D_DOOR	D_DOOR

Is the resistance less than 3 ohms?

Yes	No
Go to CQ4.	REPAIR the circuit.

CQ4: CHECK THE DOOR LOCK STATUS CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND

Measure the resistance between:

(+) Front Door Latch LH Assembly Connector, Harness Side	(-)
D_DOOR	Ground

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes	No
INSTALL a new front door latch assembly. REFER to Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems article.	REPAIR the circuit.
