Rear Seat RH - SuperCrew: Removal

The following procedure describes critical repair steps required for correct seat component installation. Follow all notes and steps carefully. Do not place any objects between the seat components and the body of the vehicle, nor any objects within a joint internal to the seat structure. Failure to follow step instructions may result in incorrect operation of the seat components and increases the risk of serious personal injury.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the rear seat RH seatbelt anchor bolt and position aside the seatbelt.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

NOTE: The rear seat cushion must be unlocked to perform this step if the vehicle has rear under seat storage.
Raise the rear seat RH cushion.
- Remove and discard the rear seat RH front bolts.
Torque
: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)
- Fold the rear seat RH backrest down.
- Release the backrest latch.
- Fold the rear seat RH backrest down.

- Remove the vehicle jack tie down retainer.
- Position the vehicle jack tie down aside.
- Remove the vehicle jack.

- Disconnect the rear seat electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the rear seat electrical connector wire retainer.
- Remove the rear seat RH nuts and remove the rear seat RH.
Torque
: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
