Rear Seat LH - SuperCab: Removal

The following procedure describes critical repair steps required for correct seat component installation. Follow all notes and steps carefully. Do not place any objects between the seat components and the body of the vehicle, nor any objects within a joint internal to the seat structure. Failure to follow step instructions may result in incorrect operation of the seat components and increases the risk of serious personal injury.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the rear seat RH. Refer to: Rear Seat RH - SuperCab .
- Remove the rear seat LH seatbelt anchor bolt and position aside the seatbelt.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Remove and discard the rear seat LH front bolts.
- Raise the LH seat cushion.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)

NOTE: The backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.NOTE: During installation the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.
Release and lower the LH rear seat backrest.
- Raise the rear seat cushion.
- Release the rear seat backrest latch.
- Lower the rear seat backrest.
- If equipped. Remove the subwoofer speaker. Refer to: Subwoofer Speaker .
- Position the rear center seatbelt anchor/buckle assembly aside.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the nut.
Torque
: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Remove the pin-type retainer.
- Position the rear center seatbelt anchor/buckle assembly aside.
- Remove the rear seat LH rear nuts.
Torque
: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
- Remove the rear seat LH.
- Route center seatbelt through the cushion opening.
- Remove the seat.
