Rear Seat Backrest Cover - SuperCrew: Removal

NOTE: LH (left-hand) shown in illustration, RH (right hand) similar.
  1. Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to: Rear Seat Backrest - SuperCrew .
  2. Remove the rear head restraint guide sleeves. Refer to: Rear Head Restraint Guide Sleeve .
  3. If equipped. Remove the rear seat armrest. Refer to: Rear Seat Armrest - SuperCrew .
  4. Release the rear seat backrest cover lower J-clip.

  5. On both sides, unzip the rear seat backrest cover.

  6. Release the rear seat backrest cover rear strap and position aside.

    LH seat 

  7. Release the rear seat backrest center J-clip and armrest cavity retainers.

    All seats 

  8. NOTE: Use care when separating the backrest cover from the hook-and-arrows, or the hooks can be torn from the rear seat backrest foam.
    NOTE: Use care when separating the backrest cover from the hook-and-loop strip or the hook-and-loop can be torn from the foam pad.

    Remove the rear seat backrest cover from the foam pad.

    1. Release the hook-and-arrows.
    2. Release the hook-and-loop strips.

  9. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
    NOTE: If equipped, note the routing of the rear seat heater mat wiring.

    Remove the rear seat backrest foam.
