Front Door Window Glass: Removal

Vehicles with power windows 

1. Remove the appropriate front door window control switch. Refer to: Passenger Door Window Control Switch - Vehicles With: Front Power Windows . Refer to: Driver Door Window Control Switch - Vehicles With: Front Power Windows .

   All vehicles 

2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel .
3. Remove the front door watershield.

4. Disconnect the front door speaker electrical connector.

5. Remove the screws and the front door speaker.

   Torque

   : 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

6. Remove the front door inner belt moulding.

   Vehicles with power windows 

7. Lower the front door window glass to the half down position.
   1. Connect the window control switch.
   2. Lower the front door window glass to the half down position.
   3. Remove the window control switch.

   Vehicles With: Manual Sliding Windows 

8. Lower the front door window glass to the half down position.
   1. Partially install the front door window regulator handle.
   2. Lower the front door window glass to the half down position.
   3. Remove the front door window regulator handle.

   All vehicles 

9. Remove the front door glass.
   1. Release the front door window glass retaining clips Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   2. NOTE: For the right hand side, rotate the front door window glass 45 degrees counter-clockwise.

      Raise, rotate 45 degrees clockwise and remove the front door glass.
