Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
REFER to: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms - System Operation and Component Description .
CLEAR the DTC. WAIT 10 minutes to allow the window motor to cool. INITIALIZE the door window. REFER to: Power Door Window Initialization . . VERIFY the DTC is no longer present. If the DTC returns, INSPECT the window seals, glass runs and window regulator for a binding condition. REPAIR as necessary.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition DDM B13F1:4B Driver Power Window Motor: Over Temperature This DTC may set when there is a restriction of glass travel. Excessive attempts may cause the window motor to overheat and so thermal protection prevents further operation until the motor cools sufficiently. PDM B13F2:4B Passenger Power Window Motor: Over Temperature This DTC may set when there is a restriction of glass travel. Excessive attempts may cause the window motor to overheat and so thermal protection prevents further operation until the motor cools sufficiently. Possible Sources
