Rear Door - SuperCab: Removal

NOTE: The rear door should only be removed and installed to the vehicle at 90 deg. door open position. Detaching and reattaching the rear door at full open (about 170 deg.) could possibly release an internal spring in the hinge mechanism and therefore disable the hinge function completely.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: LH side shown in illustration, RH side similar.
  1. Remove the rear body access trim panel.

  2. Disconnect the rear door electrical connector and the clips.

  3. Remove the bolts.

    Use the General Equipment: Door Lift

    Torque

    : 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

  4. Remove the door.
