Rear Door Alignment - SuperCab: Adjustment

All alignments
- Open the front door.
- Open the rear door.
- Remove the upper striker assembly trim panel cover.
- Remove the bolts and the upper striker assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the lower striker assembly.
Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
Rear door in and out, up and down alignment
- Open the front door.
- Open the rear door.

NOTE: This step is only necessary if the component has not previously been serviced.NOTE: Mark the bolt head with suitable paint when replacing the factory installed bolts.NOTE: This step is only necessary if no marking is present.
Replace the factory installed bolts with service bolts. Factory installed bolts do not allow for adjustment of the door.
Torque
: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)
- Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
- Adjust the door as required.
- Tighten the bolts.
Torque
: 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)
Rear door fore, aft and tilt alignment
- Open the front door.
- Open the rear door.
- Remove the rear body access trim panel.
- Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.
- Carefully close the door.
- Adjust the door as required.
- Carefully open the door.
- Tighten the bolts.
Torque
: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
All alignments
- Inspect the body-to-rear door dimensions.
- Install the removed components.
