Rear Door Alignment - SuperCab: Adjustment

All alignments 

  1. Open the front door.

  2. Open the rear door.

  3. Remove the upper striker assembly trim panel cover.

  4. Remove the bolts and the upper striker assembly.

    Torque

    : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

  5. Remove the bolts and the lower striker assembly.

    Torque

    : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

    Rear door in and out, up and down alignment 

  6. Open the front door.

  7. Open the rear door.

  8. NOTE: This step is only necessary if the component has not previously been serviced.
    NOTE: Mark the bolt head with suitable paint when replacing the factory installed bolts.
    NOTE: This step is only necessary if no marking is present.

    Replace the factory installed bolts with service bolts. Factory installed bolts do not allow for adjustment of the door.

    Torque

    : 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

  9. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

  10. Adjust the door as required.

  11. Tighten the bolts.

    Torque

    : 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

    Rear door fore, aft and tilt alignment 

  12. Open the front door.

  14. Remove the rear body access trim panel.

  15. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the door.

  16. Carefully close the door.

  17. Adjust the door as required.

  19. Tighten the bolts.

    Torque

    : 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

    All alignments 

  20. Inspect the body-to-rear door dimensions.

  21. Install the removed components.
