Pinpoint Test I: U202B:62

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    The PACM sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes when the PACM is programmed with development software.

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    PACM U202B:62 In-Use Application Signing Key: Signal Compare Failure This DTC sets in the PACM when development software is programmed into a production module.

    Possible Sources 

    • PACM programming concern

  2. I1 CHECK FOR RECENT SERVICE HISTORY

    • Ignition ON.

    • Clear the PACM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Perform the PACM self-test.

    Is DTC U202B:62 present? 

    Yes  PROGRAM the PACM using as-built data. REFER to: Module Programming . If the module programming fails to correct the concern, INSTALL a new PACM for failure to retain module programming. REFER to: Pedestrian Alert Control Module (PACM) .
    No  The PACM is functioning correctly. This DTC only sets when development software is in use in the PACM.
