Kick Switch: Removal

Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Detach the wiring harness retainer clips.

Remove the screw and running board end cap.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

- Remove the screw.
  Torque
  
  : 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Push inside and remove the kick switch.
