Side Parking Aid Camera: Removal

Vehicles equipped with short arm mirrors 

NOTE: Analog camera is shown in illustration, digital camera is similar.
  1. Remove the side view camera mounting plate screw.

  2. Release the tab and position the side view camera mounting plate.

    Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the side parking aid camera and mounting plate as an assembly.

  4. Remove the side parking aid camera and bracket.

    • Separate and remove the side parking aid camera.

    Vehicles equipped with long arm mirrors 

  5. Remove the exterior mirror. Refer to: Exterior Mirror - Vehicles With: Long Arm Mirrors .
  6. Remove the exterior mirror weather shield.

    1. Using a suitable tool, release the locking tabs.
    2. Position the inside edge of the cover.
    3. Remove the side parking aid camera cover.

  8. Remove the side parking aid camera assembly.

    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

  9. Release the locking tabs and remove the upper camera bracket.

  10. Remove the side parking aid camera.
