Active Air Dam (AAD) Actuator: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
On LH side. Disconnect the AAD electrical connector, detach the retainer and position the wiring harness aside.

On RH side. Release the locking tab and disconnect the AAD electrical connector. Detach the retainer and position the wiring harness aside.

On both sides. Remove the bolt.
Torque

: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the bolts and the AAD assembly.
Torque

: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the screws and the AAD actuator.
Torque

: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
