Front Seatbelt Retractor and Pretensioner - SuperCab: Installation

WARNING:
Incorrect repair techniques or actions can cause an accidental Supplemental Restraint System deployment. Make sure the restraint system is depowered before reconnecting the component. Refer to the SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING
. Failure to precisely follow depowering instructions could result in serious personal injury from an accidental deployment.
NOTE:
During installation, make sure the seatbelt webbing is not twisted and the seatbelts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
- Install the front seatbelt anchor and pretensioner weather seal.
- Install the bolt and the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

- Position the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner webbing aside.
- Fold the weather seal over the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner alignment tab.
- Connect the front seatbelt retractor pretensioner, load limiter and anchor pretensioner electrical connectors.
- Attach the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner guide.
- Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel - SuperCab .
- Repower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Repowering .
- Check the seatbelt system for correct operation. Refer to: Seatbelt System Functional Tests .
