Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor - SuperCab/SuperCrew: Removal

SuperCab

NOTE: The striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

Lower the LH rear seat backrest.
1. Pull the release strap and release the latch from the striker.
2. Lower the LH rear seat backrest.

SuperCrew
NOTE: The rear seat backrest latch is only accessible when the rear seat cushion is raised.

NOTE: The striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.
1. Raise the LH rear seat cushion.
2. Release the seat latch.
3. Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.

SuperCab and SuperCrew
Release the seat latch and fold the RH rear seat backrest down.

Remove the pin-type retainer and position the load space trim panel aside.

Remove the bolt(s) and the child safety seat tether anchor(s).

Torque

: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
