Tailgate Step Sensor

The tailgate step sensor detects whether the tailgate step is stowed or deployed. The RGTM receives a signal from the tailgate step sensor. The tailgate step sensor is available as a serviceable component.
NOTE:
The RGTM monitors the tailgate step position and the power tailgate function will not work for at least 30 seconds if the tailgate step is deployed.
