Pickup Bed

The pickup bed consists of: 

• pickup box assembly.
• pickup box tie-down hooks.
• comes in standard lengths of 1.67 m (5.5 ft) or 1.98 m (6.5 ft) or optional 2.43 m (8 ft) length.
• box inner/box outer panels in aluminum construction.
• houses 2 stake pockets in the top of the 1.68 m (5.5 ft) bed, 4 stake pockets in the 1.98 m (6.5 ft) bed and 6 stake pockets in the 2.43 m (8 ft) bed.
• aluminum tailgate with stamped outer panels.

The styleside pickup bed: 

• is standard.
• comes in standard lengths of 1.67 m (5.5 ft) or 1.98 m (6.5 ft) or optional 2.43 m (8 ft) length.
• is double-wall aluminum construction.
• houses 2 stake pockets in the top of the 1.68 m (5.5 ft) bed, 4 stake pockets in the 1.98 m (6.5 ft) bed and 6 stake pockets in the 2.43 m (8 ft) bed.
• on 4WD vehicles, includes rear-wheel opening mouldings.
• is constructed of an inner aluminum box and aluminum tailgate with stamped outer panels.

Styleside pickup beds: 

• come standard with 4 pickup bed tie-down hooks.

The tailgate assembly consists of: 

• tailgate.
• tailgate hinges.
• tailgate support cables.
• torsion rod.
• tailgate damper (if equipped).
• tailgate step (if equipped).
• tailgate step handle (if equipped).
• rear view camera (if equipped).
• power locking tailgate latch release (if equipped).

Tailgate Step Binding 

Binding can consist of any of the three conditions:

• Increased operational effort and/or inability to open or close the tailgate step after button deployment.
• Increased operational effort and/or inability to open or close the tailgate step during normal operation.
• When fully extended the tailgate step won't drop down or won't slide back into the tailgate from the drop down position without excessive effort.
