Transmission Fluid Heat Exchanger - 3.0L Power Stroke Diesel: Installation

- Install the transmission fluid cooler and the bolts.
Torque
: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
- Connect the harness retainers.
- Connect the transmission fluid cooler coolant hoses to the transmission fluid cooler and remove the hose clamps.
- Connect the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the transmission fluid cooler.
- Install the transmission fluid tube secondary latches.
- Check and adjust the engine coolant level as necessary. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Check and adjust the transmission fluid level as necessary. Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
- If equipped, install the shield, the retainer and the bolts.
Torque
: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
