DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition SOBDMC P0563:00 System Voltage High: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the internal processor voltages are greater than a calibrated range. Possible Sources
- External excessive voltage
- 24-volt jump start
- Inverter System Controller (ISC)
- C1 CHECK THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) CIRCUIT FOR VOLTAGE
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect Inverter System Controller (ISC) C1458A.
- Ignition ON.
Is the voltage greater than 10.5 V?
Yes GO to C2 No REFER to: Charging System - 2.7L EcoBoost (238kW/324PS)/3.5L EcoBoost (BM) . To diagnose the low voltage symptom. Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs. - C2 CHECK THE INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) CIRCUIT FOR VOLTAGE
Is the voltage less than 16V?
Yes GO to C3 No REFER to: Charging System - 2.7L EcoBoost (238kW/324PS)/3.5L EcoBoost (BM) . To diagnose the high voltage symptom. Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs. - C3 CHECK FOR INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.
- Allow the Inverter System Controller (ISC) to complete a normal power down sequence.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the Inverter System Controller (ISC) self-test.
Was DTC P0563 read from the Inverter System Controller (ISC)?
Yes DTC P0563 frequently sets after the vehicle has been jump-started. Clearing DTCs is expected to clear this DTC, if the DTC continuously returns, INSTALL a new Inverter System Controller (ISC). REFER to: Inverter System Controller [SOBDMC] . No Test is complete, no faults were found.
