Exhaust Manifold LH: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the RH muffler inlet pipe to manifold nuts.

Remove the LH muffler inlet pipe to manifold nuts.

Remove the bolts and the heat shield.

- Remove the nuts and the exhaust manifold.
- Discard the nuts.

Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gaskets and studs.

Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold. Refer to: Exhaust Manifold Cleaning and Inspection .
