Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the throttle body bolts and the throttle body.

  2. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket.

  3. Remove the throttle body spacer bolts and the throttle body spacer.

  4. Remove and discard the throttle body spacer gasket.

  5. NOTE: The fuel rail and fuel injectors are removed as an assembly.

    • Remove the fuel rail bolts.

    • Remove the fuel rail and fuel injector assembly.

  6. Release the fuel injector-to-fuel rail clips, separate the fuel rail from the fuel injectors and then remove the fuel rail.

  7. Remove and discard all of the fuel injector O-ring seals.
