Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation

Both sides 

  1. Inspect the ignition coil-on-plugs. Replace any damaged ignition coil-on-plugs. Replace any of the ignition coil-on-plug boots with cracks, rips or tears.

    1. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
    2. Install and tighten the ignition coil-on-plug fasteners.

      Torque

      :Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

      Stage 2: 50°

  2. Connect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

    Left side 

  3. Connect the crankcase ventilation tube connector to the air intake pipe then connect the electrical connector. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

    Both sides 

  4. Install the engine appearance cover into the rear fasteners, then install and tighten the engine appearance cover fasteners.

    Torque

    : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
