DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition PCM P208B:00 Reductant Pump "A" Performance/Stuck Off: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the difference between the commanded and monitored pump speeds exceeds 300 rpm. The PCM monitors the RDPC circuit for pump motor speed deviation. If the difference between the commanded and monitored pump speeds exceeds 300 rpm, this DTC sets and the SCR shuts down until the next key cycle. Possible Sources
- Reductant pump
- C1 CHECK FOR PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PCM self-test.
- Check for any other PCM related symptoms.
Is DTC P208B the only DTC present?
Yes CLEAR the DTC and repeat the self-test. If this DTC is retrieved again with no other DTCs present, install a new reductant pump assembly. REFER to: Reductant Pump and Heater Assembly . No DIAGNOSE all other PCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
