High Pressure Fuel Injection Pump

The high pressure fuel injection pump is belt driven with the camshafts and crankshaft and is located in the center at the rear of the engine. It increases the fuel pressure from approximately 414 kPa (70 psi) up to 200 MPa (29, 007 psi) and delivers it to the fuel rails.
