The low temperature cooling system consists of two separate coolant circuits; the motor electronics circuit and the high voltage battery circuit. Each circuit uses its own electric coolant pump to circulate coolant. Both circuits pass through a deaeration manifold that provides each circuit with an interface to the degas bottle. There is NO flow across a deaeration manifold between the circuits although coolant may mix between the two circuits occasionally as it expands or contracts with changes in temperature.
