Coolant Pump - Vehicles With: Dual Generators: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the air cleaner pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Loosen the coolant pump pulley bolts.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt .

NOTE: Cover the A/C compressor belt to prevent coolant contamination of the belt.
Completely cover the A/C compressor belt with waterproof plastic.
- Remove the thermostat housing. Refer to: Thermostat Housing - Vehicles With: Dual Generators .
- Remove the bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
- Remove the bolts and the coolant pump.
- Inspect the O-ring seal and replace it if necessary.
