Rocker Arm: Installation

Deactivating rocker arm

1. Lubricate the rocker arm and hydraulic lash adjuster with clean engine oil.
2. Engage the hydraulic lash adjuster into the spring clip on the rocker arm.
3. Install the rocker arm and hydraulic lash adjuster assembly.

Standard rocker arm
1. Lubricate the rocker arm and hydraulic lash adjuster with clean engine oil.
2. Engage the hydraulic lash adjuster into the spring clip on the rocker arm.
3. Install the rocker arm and hydraulic lash adjuster assembly.

Install the LH and/or RH camshaft and carrier assembly. Refer to: Camshaft and Carrier Assembly .
