Pinpoint Test P: The Engine Cranks Slowly

  1. Possible Sources 

    • Battery
    • Starter motor

  2. P1 CHECK THE ENGINE CRANKING

    • Ignition ON.

    Does engine crank slowly? 

    Yes  PERFORM the starter system component test. REFER to Starter Motor - Positive Circuit Test In GENERAL PROCEDURES .
    No  The repair is completed.
