Transmission Fluid Heater Coolant Control Valve: Removal

    WARNING: When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.

    Loosen the pressure relief cap.

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  3. Clamp off the coolant hoses.

  4. Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.

    Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  5. Remove the bolt and the transmission fluid heater coolant control valve.

    Torque

    : 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
