Heater Hoses: Removal

Both hoses
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the RH fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
- Follow the directions to release quick release coupling type 3. Disconnect the coolant tubes. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

Heater inlet hose
- Follow the directions to release quick release coupling type 3. Disconnect the coolant tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect the EGR cooler tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Detach the coolant hose retainer.

- Detach the coolant hose retainers.
- Remove the heater inlet hose.
Heater outlet hose
- Detach the coolant hose retainers.

- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect the EGR cooler tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Release the clamp and remove the heater outlet hose.
