Pinpoint Test L: Transmission Fluid Contaminated, Leaking, Overheating

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    • External leaks 

      • Inspect the transmission, transmission fluid cooler and transmission fluid cooler tubes for leaks. REFER to: Leakage Inspection .

    • Overheating 

      • Resolve any TCC concerns.

    • Engine coolant in the transmission fluid 

      • To resolve a transmission fluid contaminated with engine coolant symptom, REFER to: Transmission Cooling .

    • Transmission seals
    • Transmission cooling system
