Pinpoint Test D: Engagement Quality - Forward

- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
- Delayed/soft forward
- Check the transmission fluid level. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
- Carry out the line pressure test. If line pressure is low, refer to the Line Pressure Diagnosis Chart for further diagnosis. REFER to: Special Testing Procedures .

- Check the A clutch for a slipping apply condition. REFER to: A Clutch .
- Check the E clutch for a slipping apply condition. REFER to: E Clutch .
- Check low one-way clutch for a slipping condition. REFER to: Low One-Way Clutch Assembly .
- Harsh forward

- Neutral after launch
- Check the low one-way clutch for a slipping condition. REFER to: Low One-Way Clutch Assembly .
- Slip on hard acceleration in 1A and 2A
- Check the low one-way clutch for a slipping condition. REFER to: Low One-Way Clutch Assembly .
- Harsh/soft/delayed engagement after start/stop restart
- Inspect the transmission fluid auxiliary pump, seals, and hydraulic passages for damage, blockage or leaks. CLEAN or INSTALL new components as necessary. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Pump .
