Windshield Washer Reservoir: Removal

  1. Remove the inboard windshield washer reservoir retainer.

    Torque

    : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  2. Disconnect the windshield washer hose, unclip and position the hose aside.

  3. Siphon the windshield washer fluid out.

    1. Open the windshield washer fluid reservoir cap.
    2. Siphon the windshield washer fluid.

      Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun

      Use the General Equipment: Fluid Container

  4. Remove RH headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .
  5. Disconnect the windshield washer fluid level sensor and the windshield washer pump electrical connectors and position the harness aside.

  6. Remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

    1. Remove the pin-type retainer.
    2. Remove the nut.

      Torque

      : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

    3. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

      Remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Use the General Equipment: Fluid Container
