Headliner - SuperCrew: Removal

  1. Position the steering column fully inward and upward.

    1. If equipped. Release the steering column lock.
    2. Position the steering column fully inward and upward.

  2. Remove the following items:

    1. On both sides. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. Refer to: A-Pillar Trim Panel .
    2. On both sides. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel. Refer to: B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCrew .
    3. On both the sides. Remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to: C-Pillar Trim Panel .
    4. On both sides. Remove the front seats. Refer to: Front Seat .
    5. If equipped. Remove the front center seat. Refer to: Front Center Seat .
    6. If equipped. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
    7. On passenger side. Remove the front door. Refer to: Front Door - Regular Cab/SuperCrew .

  3. NOTE: LH (left hand) side shown in illustration, RH (right hand) side similar.

    On both sides. Remove the sun visor.

    1. Remove the bolt cover.
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the sun visor.
    4. If equipped. Disconnect the sun visor electrical connector.

  4. On both sides. Remove the bolt and the sun visor clip.

  5. On LH side. Disconnect the headliner wiring harness electrical connector.

  6. Release the clips and remove the windshield interior trim panel.

    Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  7. Disconnect the headliner wiring harness electrical connectors.

  8. On both sides. Remove and discard the garment hooks.

    1. Open the garment hook retainer cover.
    2. Remove the screw and the garment hook.

  9. On LH side. Disconnect the headliner wiring harness electrical connector.

  10. On RH side. Disconnect the headliner wiring harness electrical connector.

    Vehicles With: Panoramic Roof Opening Panel 

  11. Lower the headliner.

    1. Release the headliner rear clips.

      Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    2. Release the headliner front and side clips.

    3. Release the headliner magnets.

  12. Lower the headliner.

    1. Release the headliner rear clips.

      Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

    2. Release the headliner front and side clips.

    3. Release the headliner magnet.

    All vehicles 

  13. Position the headliner below the steering column.

  14. NOTE: The headliner does allow for some minor flexing to fit it out of the passenger front door opening.

    Remove the headliner.
