C-Pillar Trim Panel: Removal

NOTE:

NOTE:
Seats removed for clarity.
- Remove the rear scuff plate trim panel. Refer to: Rear Scuff Plate Trim Panel .
- Remove the rear seatbelt retractor and pretensioner anchor bolt.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
Left hand side

NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.NOTE: During installation the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.
Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.
- Raise the seat cushion.
- Release the backrest latch.
- Fold the backrest down.
Right hand side
- Pull the backrest release strap and fold forward the RH seat backrest down.
All vehicles
- Release the C-pillar trim panel clips.
- Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
- Release the C-pillar trim panel clip from the tether clip.
- Rotate the tether clip line to align the end with the opening.
- Slide the tether clip end out of the C-pillar trim panel.
- Feed the rear seatbelt retractor and pretensioner through the opening in the C-pillar trim panel.
