B-Pillar Trim Panel - SuperCrew: Removal

Upper and Lower B-Pillar Trim Panels
- Position the front seat in the full forward position.
- Remove the front scuff plate trim panel. Refer to: Front Scuff Plate Trim Panel - Regular Cab/SuperCrew .
- Remove the rear scuff plate trim panel. Refer to: Rear Scuff Plate Trim Panel .
- Release the tabs and remove the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner opening trim cover.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Release the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner boot from the lower B-pillar trim panel and position upward on the seatbelt.
- Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
- Release the lower B-pillar trim panel clips.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Position the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner through the opening in the lower B-pillar trim panel.
Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel
- Release the lower B-pillar trim panel clips.
- Release the tab and remove the D-ring trim cover.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Remove the D-ring bolt and position the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner aside.
Torque
: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Release the upper B-pillar trim panel clips.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

NOTE: The upper B-pillar trim panel must be positioned downward to allow the upper clips to release correctly. Failure to follow this direction may cause damage to the upper B-pillar trim panel.
Slide the upper B-pillar trim panel down, aligning the clips to the slots in the sheet metal.
- Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
