Removal And Installation: Battery: Installation

NOTE: Ford Motor Company strongly recommends that all faulty batteries be returned to an authorized recycling facility for disposal.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. If installing a new battery, use the scan tool to carry out the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) reset after the battery is connected.
