Battery Tray: Removal

All vehicles

Remove the battery. Refer to: Battery .
Non-Hybrid Vehicles
Detach the battery cable retainers from the battery tray.

Remove the bolts and the battery tray.
Torque

: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Hybrid Vehicles
Remove the auxiliary battery isolator. Refer to: Auxiliary Battery Isolator .
Detach the battery cable retainers from the battery tray.

1. Remove the screws.
  Torque
  
  : 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
2. Remove the bolts and the battery tray.
  Torque
  
  : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
