For trailers using the trailer yaw rate sensor, the RCM reads the trailer yaw rate data from the trailer yaw rate sensor. A function in the RCM calculates the trailer angle based on the vehicle yaw rate and trailer yaw rate. This function is only included in the RCM for vehicles equipped with PTBA.
