  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMA U3000:89 Control Module: Data Transfer Failure This continuous memory and on-demand DTC sets in IPMA when data transfer failure from IPMA.

    Possible Sources 

    • Communication network concern
    • IPMA

  2. BN1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Wait 10 seconds.

    • Using the diagnostic scan tool, carry out the IPMA self-test.

    Is DTC U3000:89 retrieved? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new suspect module. Refer concern section for module progamming.
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time.
