  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMA U3000:98 Control Module: Component Or System Over Temperature An on-demand and continuous memory DTC Sets in IPMA when the IPMA module detects the are over-temperature.

    Possible Sources 

    • IPMA module

  2. BF1 CLEAR THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Remove the vehicle from direct sunlight and allow the interior of the vehicle to cool.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Wait 10 seconds.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPMA module self-test.

    Is DTC U3000:98 still present? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new IPMA module. REFER to: Image Processing Module A (IPMA) .
    No  TEST the system for normal operation.
