DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition IPMA U0422:86 Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module: Signal Invalid This continuous memory DTC sets in the IPMA when IPMA receives invalid signal from BCM through the GWM. Possible Sources
- BCM
- BC1 CHECK FOR BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) INVALID DATA
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the module in question.
Is DTC U0422:86 still present?
Yes RETRIEVE and FOLLOW non-network Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the BCM. REFER to: Body Control Module (BCM) . No DIAGNOSE the observable symptom.
