  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMA U0452:83 Invalid Data Received From Restraints Control Module: Value Of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect This continuous memory DTC can set in the IPMA due to a fault in the RCM or an invalid input from the RCM.

    Possible Sources 

    • Suspect module
    • RCM

  2. AS1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FROM THE MODULE SENDING INVALID DATA

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the module in question.

    Is DTC U0452:83 still present? 

    Yes  RETRIEVE and FOLLOW non-network Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the RCM. REFER to: Airbag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) .
    No  DIAGNOSE the observable symptom present. REFER to the Symptom Chart(s) .
