  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Lane Keeping System - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPMA U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure This DTC sets when other IPMA related DTC's not addressed.

    Possible Sources 

    • IPMA concern

  2. AI1 CHECK WHETHER ALL IPMA (IMAGE PROCESSING MODULE A) DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) 'S ADDRESSED

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for the module in question.

    Is DTC U3000:49 still present? 

    Yes  The IPMA has permanently disabled an output because an excessive current draw has occurred more times than allowed. ADDRESS all other IPMADTC. If this continuous memory DTC is still present after all other IPMADTC have been addressed. INSTALL a new IPMA. REFER to: Image Processing Module A (IPMA) .
    No  The repair is complete.
