Ignition Switch - Vehicles With: Keyed Ignition: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the steering column opening lower trim panel.
- Unclip and lower the steering column opening lower trim panel.
- Remove the retainers and the steering column opening lower trim panel.
- Remove the steering column opening trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the upper finish trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the center finish trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the LHregister bezel.
- Fully extend and lower the steering column.
- Remove the IPC bezel.
- Separate the gap hider from the upper steering column shroud.
- Remove the retainers.
Torque
: 22 lb. in (2. 5 Nm)
- Release the clips and remove the IPC bezel.
- Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connectors.

- Remove the retainers.
- Remove the ignition switch and lock housing assembly.
- Transfer parts as necessary.
