Pinpoint Test Q: U2100:00, U2101:00

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    SCCM U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not Complete: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the SCCM has been improperly programmed.
    SCCM U2101:00 Control Module Configuration Incompatible: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an incorrect SCCM has been installed.

    Possible Sources 

    • Improper or incomplete programming

  2. Q1 U2100:00, U2101:00

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, CLEAR the SCCMCMDTC

    • WAIT 10 seconds

    • CHECK for SCCMCMDTC

    Does the U2100:00, U2101:00 return? 

    Yes  CONFIGURE the SCCM using a diagnostic scan tool. REFER to: Module Programming .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by module connections. ADDRESS the root cause of any connector or pin issues.
