Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid: Removal

RH (right-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids
- Remove the RH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover RH .
- Remove the bolt and the exhaust VCT oil control solenoid.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the intake VCT oil control solenoid.
Torque
:Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Stage 2: 30°
LH (left-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids
- Remove the LH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover LH - Vehicles With: Dual Generators . Refer to: Valve Cover LH .
- Remove the bolt and the exhaust VCT oil control solenoid.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the intake VCT oil control solenoid.
Torque
:Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Stage 2: 30°
