Cylinder Deactivation Solenoid: Removal

Cylinder Deactivation - Cylinder 1 Cylinder 4 Solenoid
- Remove the RH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover RH .

NOTE: Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil.
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 1 solenoid.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 4 solenoid.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
Cylinder Deactivation - Cylinder 6 Cylinder 7 Solenoid
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 1 solenoid.
- Remove the LH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover LH - Vehicles With: Dual Generators . Refer to: Valve Cover LH .

NOTE: Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil.
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 6 solenoid.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 7 solenoid.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Remove the retainer. Remove cylinder deactivation cylinder 6 solenoid.
