Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid: Removal

Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Bank 1 Solenoid 1 and Bank 2 Solenoid 2
- Remove the RH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover RH .
- Remove the bolts and the VCT oil control solenoids.
Torque
:Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Stage 2: 20°
Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Bank 2 Solenoid 1 and Bank 2 Solenoid 2
- Remove the LH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover LH .
- Remove the bolts and the VCT oil control solenoids.
Torque
:Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Stage 2: 20°
